“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams is pregnant. The reality TV star revealed the news in an interview.
She said it wasn’t easy and the pregnancy really worried her.
The fear refers to Williams’s miscarriage six years ago, along with related health problems.
“I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy,” added Williams. “So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.”
“I just went to my first appointment, so I am on the moon right now. We got to hear the baby’s heartbeat,” said Williams. “I feel like it’s a boy. Dennis is going back and forth between thinking it’s a boy and thinking it’s a girl.”
Williams shared more about why she predicts she may be having a boy, based on the examination.
“The way the baby was jumping and doing aerobics, probably in there doing—what’s that exercise? CrossFit?—It’s probably a boy, I think it might be a boy, because the baby was super duper active.”
Williams revealed her pregnancy to the daddy-to-be, Dennis McKinley, on his birthday in July.
“The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long and getting that blessing with someone who is just as excited as me,” said Williams, via People. “[I]t’s something we’ve both always wanted … It’s like a dream come true.”
“It’s just the sweetest moment of my life right now,” she said, via People.
Baby Names
She also shared about picking out baby names, via People.“One of the names that he has absolutely settled on—I’m not settled on it yet—is PJ. PJ stands for Porsha Jr. He wants to name our daughter Porsha Jr.,” said Williams. “I’m not really sure because I think she’s going to be mad, like, ‘Really, Mom?’ And then I’m going to have to try to explain it and he’s probably going to deny that it was all his idea.”
Producer Andy Cohen sent out a tweet that may indicate even more surprises for the upcoming “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11.
Williams acted in a stage remake of “Two Can Play That Game,” with Vivica A. Fox, and also acted in TV movie “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming.”
Williams also did voiceover for animated movie “CarGo,” a 2017 movie of talking cars.
