Rapper Travis Scott and his family are paying it forward this holiday season by donating food and thousands of gifts to the Houston, Texas, community.
Launched in 2020, Cactus Jack is dedicated to empowering youth and improving their lives by “providing access to education and creative resources to ensure long-term success.”
Scott, 33, was joined by his 6-year-old daughter, Stormi, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner, as well as his parents, siblings, and some members of his extended family.
Scott’s foundation partnered with the Houston Food Bank in gifting over 2,000 toys and bikes to families and children ahead of the Christmas holiday.
In addition to 1,000 bags of food, the donations included hundreds of pairs of Cactus Jack’s line of Nike sneakers and Houston Astros, Fanatics, and Space Village merchandise.
“Cactus Jack Foundation 5th Annual Winter Wonderland Toy & Food Drive served over 1,000 Houston residents on Texas Southern University campus for the first time in honor of the Cactus Jack Waymon Webster HBCU Scholarship Program launched in 2019,” the caption read.
At the event named after Scott’s grandfather, students were able to sign up and learn how to apply for the scholarship themselves.
This isn’t the first year the Cactus Foundation has offered assistance to Houston residents in need.
In 2021, following the historic winter storm in Texas, Scott teamed up with the City of Houston and the Houston Health Foundation to launch an emergency food program, as reported by Billboard.
