The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida released several photos of a hotel room where comedian Bob Saget was found dead.

On Tuesday, photos showed the Ritz-Carlton room where the “Full House” star had been staying when he was found dead in January 2022. One of the photos shows a white, padded headboard, which officials have theorized that Saget may have hit his head before he went to sleep.

Other images showed the sitting area within the suite, a bathroom, a minibar, a hallway, and more.

After several media outlets published the hotel room photos on Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office later confirmed the authenticity to The Epoch Times.

Orange County Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany said Saget, 65, was found to have suffered a fracture near the base of his skull that was consistent with evidence suggesting he had bleeding around his brain.

“The amount of force necessary to cause the fracture, coupled with the fact that the skin on the back of the head was still intact, led him to believe that the injury was most likely caused by ‘something hard, covered by something soft,’ and he gave, as an example, a fall onto a carpeted floor,” Stephany said in a report last week, according to Fox35.

The report added: “The headboard of the bed was lightly padded and set slightly out from the wall. These are listed here as possible mechanisms of injury, but nothing was located in the room that allows for a definitive conclusion.”

Saget was found unresponsive on Jan. 9 in the suite after he had performed in the area the previous night as part of a stand-up comedy routine.

Earlier this month, a Florida judge permanently blocked the release of some records surrounding Saget’s death following a request from his family.

“The entire Saget family is grateful that the judge granted their request for an injunction to preserve Bob’s dignity, as well as their privacy rights, especially after suffering this unexpected and tragic loss,” Saget’s family said in a statement.

“We are pleased this issue has been resolved, and the healing process can continue to move forward,” the family continued to say, adding: “All of the prayers and well wishes continuously extended to the family are beyond appreciated.”
