Kim Kardashian is set to take the stand and testify in an upcoming trial of 10 suspects in the 2016 Paris armed robbery of her jewelry worth millions of dollars.

According to her attorney, Michael Rhodes, the reality television star and businesswoman will testify on May 13 during a trial slated to run from April 28 to May 23 in Paris.

“We can confirm that Ms. Kardashian will be testifying in person at the upcoming French criminal trial involving the 2016 incident in which she was bound and robbed at gunpoint by a number of masked assailants,” Rhodes told the Associated Press April 15.

Rhodes added that Kardashian, 44, has “tremendous appreciation and admiration for the French judicial system” and hopes for the trial to “proceed in an orderly fashion in accordance with French law and with respect for all parties to the case.”

On Oct. 3, 2016, Kardashian was robbed in her Paris apartment, where she was staying while attending Paris Fashion Week.

Several masked men, some impersonating police officers, entered her residence, then gagged her, tied her up with cables and tape, and locked her in a bathroom while they completed the robbery.

The group made off with several pieces of jewelry, including a $4 million ring given to her by ex-husband Kanye West.

Authorities arrested 17 individuals in connection with the theft in January 2017.

Four were indicted that month, with 10 suspects now facing charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and membership in a criminal gang.

According to French news agency AFP, Aomar Ait Khedache, known as “Old Omar,” is among the arrested suspects and is allegedly the ringleader of the gang.

Some thieves lost stolen items while on the run, including suspect Yunice Abbas, who allegedly fled on a bicycle and dropped a diamond-encrusted cross worth over $30,000, found later by a passerby.

It remains unclear if Khedache and Abbas are among the 10 individuals being tried, and whether the others involved will be tried later.
