The sister of singer Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, responded to people who believe her sister is being held against her will.
On April 22, fans of the singer held a protest in Los Angeles to “free Britney,” according to photos posted to social media.
Reports in early April said Spears checked herself into a mental health facility amid her father’s health issues. People magazine and TMZ reported that over this past weekend, she was given a one-day leave to be with her family during Easter.

However, her sister, Jamie Lynn, appeared to shoot down speculation that she’s being held against her will.“I love my sister with everything I have. So, anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand,” she continued.
She said, “Do not come for me or the ones I love anymore. You can move the ‘blank’ outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth.”
Meanwhile, Jamie Lynn and Britney’s mother, Lynn Spears, apparently “liked” social media posts with the “#FreeBritney” hashtag, reported the Post.
“Britney appeared happy, smiling as she emerged and headed to her car in a summer dress and Birkenstocks,” the source said. “Sam is clearly looking out for his long-time girlfriend, he made sure to walk ahead of her and see her to her car.”
