After rapper Eminem criticized President Donald Trump in one of his songs performed at the 2017 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, he said that he’s not pleased that the president didn’t pay attention to it.

“I feel like he’s not paying attention to me,” Eminem said Tuesday in an interview with Shade 45 (via The Hill). “I was kind of waiting for him to say something and for some reason, he didn’t say anything.”

“I was and still am extremely angry,” Eminem told the hosts.

After making the comments this week, users on social media pilloried the rapper.

In the clip, he also criticized Trump supporters and essentially told supporters of the president, who are also fans of the rapper, to stop listening. “Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his / I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against,” he said in the clip.

Missouri, the home state of the 45-year-old rapper, born Marshall Mathers, voted for Trump (57.1 percent).
