E! News Chief Correspondent Keltie Knight crawled the red carpet after realizing her four-carat diamond was missing from her ring at the 2024 Golden Globes.

“Hi everyone, Golden Globes emergency,” Ms. Knight, 41, announced in a short video on Instagram on Sunday night. “If you’re a celebrity and you see a four-carat diamond on the red carpet, please return it to Keltie Knight at E! ‘cause it’s gone. And, um... it’s real.”

The TV host said the still missing diamond was a 10-year anniversary gift from her husband, Chris Knight, 41. The couple were married in August of 2013.

The biggest shocker was possibly revealed on Monday when she admitted to E! host Justin Sylvester that the diamond was “uninsured.”

“Oh, my god,” Mr. Sylvester said when Ms. Knight made the confession in a video posted on the E! website.

Bling Goes Missing Between Makeup and Red Carpet

Ms. Knight believes she lost the large rock at some point between makeup and taking photos on the red carpet in her sparkly pink Khaled & Marwan couture floor-length gown.
“Clue #1: I had the diamond when I finished makeup because we cleaned it,” she wrote on her Instagram, according to People. “When I did photos, it was gone.”

Ms. Knight told Today.com that she had slept in the ring Saturday night, which she rarely does, but she did not want to forget to wear them to the awards show the next day.

On Sunday, she said she went to the Beverly Hilton, where the ceremony was held, to have her hair and makeup done. She recalled that the diamond was on her finger when the makeup artist put “shimmer” on her hands.

Next, Ms. Knight headed to the E! platform, located near the photo area on the red carpet, to prepare for the big night and take photos ahead of the event.

After taking photos, she looked at her hand and noticed the diamond was missing from its setting.

“So the diamond was lost either at the E! platform or walking down to get my photos taken at the photo line because, by the time I got to the photos, the diamond was gone,” Ms. Knight told Today.com.

Later that evening, Ms. Knight shared an image of herself crawling along the red carpet, still dressed in the floor-length gown and massive high heels, searching for the diamond.

“Looking for diamond,” she wrote in the caption beneath the photo.

According to the report, photographers along the red carpet looked through their images for the diamond; one even tried using a strong zoom to spot it. But, sadly, no luck.

Despite the major mishap, the news correspondent remained calm and focused while working the red carpet.

“I had prepared so hard for the red carpet, and I was singularly focused on getting Jennifer Lawrence to talk about the ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ finale!” she said. “There was no time to be worried about a diamond.” Ms. Knight shared a clip from her interview with Ms. Lawrence on Instagram.

On Monday, Ms. Knight called the hotel to ensure the production team was aware of the lost diamond in hopes it would be found as they took down the red carpet set.

Unfortunately, the whereabouts of the missing stone remain a mystery.

“I’m very sad, but also grounded that stuff is just stuff,” Ms. Knight told People. “I’d rather have my happy decade of marriage than the ring. But if you find my diamond, please return it!”
