Rapper Drake made a quick shout-out to an 11-year-old super fan Sofia Sanchez during his show in Madison Square Garden in New York City on the night of Aug. 28, after the girl’s successful heart transplant.
“God the other day blessed her with a new heart. So, Sofia, if they get this clip out to you, I love you and I’m happy for you,” said Drake on stage in the video.
The shout-out was followed by one of the singer’s hits “God’s Plan,” which is also Sofia’s favorite. According to the Chicago Tribune, Sofia is currently recovering from a nine-hour surgery that she underwent on Aug. 27.
The singer visited Sofia at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago during his tour stop on Aug. 18.
According to Twitter account @WordOnRoad’s clip, Drake announced in front of the audience that he’s going to visit Kristin at Mt. Sinai and that Kristin was watching the whole show.
