Country singer-songwriter, Riley Green, is showing no signs of slowing down after being hospitalized during a hunting trip.
“At the emergency room ’cause I stepped on a nail [and] impaled my foot, and when I took my boot off, corn fell all over the floor,” he said.
“The lady came in here wanting to know where all the corn came from,” he added. “It’s from my boot. You don’t want me to take this other one off, either, it’s real-world problems.”
Green, an avid hunter, did not have recovery on his mind, but rather was concerned when he will be able to resume his hobby again.
Hours later, the Alabama native could be seen in clips on his Instagram stories, back in the snowy wooded area of his hunting outing with the caption, “Somethin' might be wrong with me at this point.”
In a follow-up clip, the “Worst Way” singer was seen back on his feet, in what he noted was 16-degree weather, and added “What sore foot?”
When he’s not taking the stage performing, Green spends his time on his property in Kansas, and boasting about the latest deer he hunted.
Since 2019, he released three albums, “Different ‘Round Here,” “Ain’t My Last Rodeo” in 2023, and “Don’t Mind If I Do,” last year.
In 2020, he received the nod for New Male Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.
He will also head overseas, making stops in the UK and Ireland.
