Aesha Scott, a television personality known for her roles on “Below Deck Mediterranean” and “Below Deck Down Under,” is taking on a new reality show.
Scott, 33, took to Instagram on March 18 to reveal that she and her fiancé, Scott Dobson, are set to compete in the forthcoming celebrity edition of “The Amazing Race Australia.”
“I cannot emphasize this enough….. THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE. It has been a bucket list dream of mine since I was 13, and the fact I am here right now in our first location is SO SURREAL.
“I can barely process it! Pinch me, pinch me, pinch me!!! Added to that is the fact that I get to do this with my love by my side, making memories that will last us a lifetime and that we can one day show our future kiddies. Lucky and grateful are understatements.”
The show’s premiere date has not yet been announced. It will air on Channel 10 and the 10 Play streaming platform.
However, the network did reveal the celebrity lineup for its ninth season, which will once again be hosted by Australian television presenter Beau Ryan.
Thirteen teams of two will compete on the reality show, which sees players race around the world in an attempt to be the first to reach the final destination.
In addition to Scott and Dobson, two other engaged couples will compete: four-time Olympian and triple Olympic gold medalist swimmer Bronte Campbell and her fiancé, musician Benfield Lainchbury, and “Neighbours” actor Rob Mills and his fiancée, journalist Georgie Tunny.
Personal trainer and television personality Tiffiny Hall, known for her work on “The Biggest Loser Australia,” will be competing along with her husband, comedian Ed Kavalee.
Four sets of siblings will navigate the course. They are social media sensations Luke O’Halloran and Scott O’Halloran, British adventurer Ant Middleton and building conservationist Dan Middleton, and actors Stephen Curry and Bernard Curry. Stand-up comic Steph Tisdell and her brother, emergency room doctor Ben Tisdell, will also compete.
Parkour athletes Dominic Di Tommaso and Marx Marsters will join the competition together, while former “MasterChef Australia” judge Melissa Leong will race with her best friend, Leah Wilson.
Model Lindy Klim, former “Big Brother Australia” host Gretel Killeen, and radio presenter Brendan Fevola will all race with their daughters.
“Our teams are all packed and ready to hit the road, and we can’t wait to see what adventure awaits when The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition returns to 10 and 10 Play soon!”
In her Instagram post, Scott described her fellow contestants as “incredible, talented humans” and said she was grateful to share the experience with them.
“I think you will all really enjoy watching,” she said. Let the race begin!! Wish us luck!”
Scott rose to fame in 2019 after appearing as a second stewardess on the fourth season of the Bravo reality show “Below Deck: Mediterranean.”
She resumed her role the following season and later appeared as a chief stewardess in Season 9, which premiered in June 2024. She also starred in the first two seasons of “Below Deck Down Under.”
Last year, Scott announced her engagement to Dobson, 33, whom she first met while in high school.
“In all the dreams of a happy ending, I never thought I’d get someone quite as good as Scott. He is a good, decent, honest person to the core, and he loves me so much. He treats me well and respects me and my dreams, and makes me laugh.
“I had never had a healthy relationship, so I didn’t know what such a good one even looked like. I am the luckiest woman in the world that I get to have his love. He is my fairytale ending.”
