The classic holiday film “A Christmas Story” airs all hours during the festive season each year.

Now one actor is revealing just how much he still makes from the hit movie.

Zack Ward, now 47 years old, portrayed the bully Scut Farkus in the 1983 film. He told Page Six that the amount he receives is not going to impress.

“You’re going to be so disappointed,” Ward told Page Six. “It’s basically about $1,800 every two years … and it comes in Canadian money because we shot in Canada.”

According to Currency Wiki, $1,800 in Canadian money currently is worth about $1,399 USD.

Ward, who was only 13 years old during the movie’s production, said he puts the cash into a special account for his mother, in case she needs it in the future.

Ward also revealed that to this day, he still gets stopped in the street.

“So many people come up to me and are like, ‘You got your ass kicked by Ralphie,’ and it makes them so happy,” he told Page Six. “I think they’re connecting to themselves as that little kid who had a bully and when they saw Scut Farkus get beaten up, they were just like, ‘Yeah!’ They greet me with a lot of love. It’s usually very kind.”

The actor said he is grateful for being a part of the movie, adding that he gets a lot of free beer and free hugs.

“It’s incredible to be a part of something that is lightning in a bottle like that,” he said.

According to his IMDB account, Ward is still in the acting game and recently guest-starred in the latest season of “American Horror Story.”

He currently lives in Los Angeles and is also working with All Sports Market and Global Sports Financial Exchange, Inc. to create a sports trading share exchange, allowing sports fans to buy and trade their favorite teams, Page Six reported.
