Dumb and Dumber To has wrapped  up filming, though there is no official trailer yet. The release date is November 14, and cast and news updates have been coming out recently.

Perhaps the most intriguing update is that Jennifer Lawrence will be part of the cast in a cameo role. Rob Riggle, Kathleen Turner, and Lauri Holden are among the other actors who have joined the cast. Also, Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey--the stars of Dumber and Dumber--return.

The movie is set 20 years after the first movie. Lloyd and Harry head out to search for one of their long-lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney.

Daniels recently told E! that the sequel is going to be better than the first movie.

“The scariest thing? There are some things that’s we’re going to do in Dumb and Dumber To that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame,“ he said, grinning. ”Pales in comparison and I can’t divulge what, but just that they’ve topped it. They best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius.”

He added to the Today Show that it is a joy to work with Carrey again.

“I’ve been lucky, the people I get to work with. I think Jim’s got a one-of-a-kind gift, I think he’s a comedic genius,” he said. “To marry what I can do with him is a joy, we blend well together.

“We’ve become friends over the years and I think that translates into Harry and Lloyd. We’re still middle-aged and still that stupid, that’s a given. It was a joy to make and I hope it’s funnier than the first one.”
