“I would have to say that I am naive to Chinese culture both now and of old, and I found that very interesting, that they have a very strong faith, because they still are a communist country. They can’t represent what they want to represent, they can’t do what they want to do, and they’re expressing it here, which I thought was very good ... I was proud of that.”

“Inspiring ... In many ways. It was inspiring religiously. It was like, oh, okay. There are people around there that can’t practise what they believe, so they have to go somewhere else to be able to do so—it was very interesting all the way around.”

“The most unexpected was the humor that was laced into the beauty and grace and the whole performance. A blended, tasteful humor into it. An innocent, pure humor. It was beautiful.”

“The men and their grace and masculinity combined—it’s beautiful.”
