A Chinese woman was tortured at the hands of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, and two months later, she died, according to a new report.
Jiang Pai fell into a coma after she was detained by CCP officials and was tortured for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since July 1999.
“As there were no in-house doctors on duty over the weekend, the inmates begged the guards to seek medical care for her,” the report said, adding that she wasn’t taken to the hospital for another day. Then, CCP officials “beat her and pulled her hair while she was undergoing a MRI scan,” the report stated.
The incident took place in June 2007, but information about her death wasn’t published until September 2018.
Falun Gong, also called Falun Dafa, is a traditional body-mind-spirit practice that was made public in 1992 and became widely practiced across China in the 1990s. It is grounded in ancient Chinese philosophies to uphold the tenets of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.
Inmates said that she was whipped, beaten, was shocked with electric batons, and “force-fed ... with mustard oil,” said Minghui.
The report said that CCP Domestic Security Division agent Feng Haibo, who arrested other Falun Gong practitioners, made reference to Jiang’s torture and death when they were detained by him. He said that she was placed on an “iron chair” and a shocked for three days straight, according to the report.
“We force-fed her with mustard oil three times. Tears gushed from her eyes and her nose kept running ... that was when she began to answer all the questions we asked her,” said another unnamed police officer, Minghui reported.
Liu Ying, a nurse from Daqing city, described what it’s like to be fed mustard oil in a Chinese detention center. Like Jiang, Liu was also tortured because she practices Falun Gong, the report noted.
“The police bought the mustard oil, which was imported from Japan, in the middle of the night. With a large syringe, they injected the mustard oil into my nose,” she said. “I immediately felt a very intense, scorching pain in my chest. I felt as if my internal organs were shaking. I couldn’t open my eyes. My head was exploding. I was going crazy. Words can’t describe how painful it was.”
She added: “After I lost consciousness, the police poured cold water on my body to wake me up. Then they again force-fed me with the mustard oil until I passed out again. They repeated the torture several times. While force-feeding me with mustard oil, one officer said to me, ‘Do you know Jiang Pai? This was what we did to her. She was even put in an iron chair which was plugged into electricity while being force-fed with mustard oil.’”
After the mustard oil torture, the report said Jiang was force-fed, which likely killed her.
“After repeated interrogations and force-feedings, Ms. Jiang’s health condition rapidly declined. By the morning of June 23, 2007, according to her roommates, she began to have signs of death after falling into a deep coma. She was left unattended for two days, and the inmates could only watch as this young, innocent life was being slowly taken away by death,” the report concluded.
Forced Organ Harvesting
In July 2018, three days of meetings were held at the U.S. State Department, organized by Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH).Dr. Glynn Gilcrease III, who works medical oncologist at the University of Utah School of Medicine, said during the hearing that forced organ harvesting is the state-sanctioned practice of removing organs from non-consenting prisoners of conscience. But “this is only done in China,” Gilchrist said during the hearing.
But, he noted that since 2000, the evidence shows, there has been a dramatic increase in the infrastructure used for organ transplants in China. Hospital beds have dramatically increased, as have the number of transplant teams on transplant wards. The sale of anti-rejection drugs has likewise skyrocketed.
“They are hiding something,” Trey said.
