Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher welcomed their second child, a boy, earlier this week, she confirmed.
The country music superstar posted the news on Jan. 23.
Underwood added, “Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good...”
She also posted several photos of her newborn child. One photo shows her husband beaming while holding the boy, and a second one shows Underwood with the boy on her chest.
A third photo shows their other son, Isaiah, 3, holding the baby.
Underwood recently revealed that she suffered three miscarriages.
Underwood added that she got pregnant again last spring, but that it didn’t work out.
“Got pregnant again, early 2018. Didn’t work out. So, at that point, it was just kind of like, ‘Okay, like, what’s the deal? What is all of this?’” she said in the interview.
But in August, she told fans that she was going to have another child.
“This has been a dream come true with the album and baby news and all that stuff,” Underwood added. “We are just so excited and just so glad that you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us. I love you guys. We'll see you on the road in 2019. Have a great day!”
In November, she went on stage alongside singer Brad Paisley during the 52nd Annual CMA Awards. During the show, she said she was expecting a boy.
The next month, she posted a photo of her son and her pregnant belly.
