A group of squatters took over a Hollywood Hills mansion and used it to produce OnlyFans content, KTLA5 reported.
According to the LA Times, the 9,000-square-foot fully furnished residence was listed on Airbnb and vacant when the squatters took over.
Real estate agents Emmily Randall-Smith and her husband, Tyler Smith, found the home occupied when they went there in January for an open house, the LA Times reported.
The couple called police, who in turn, questioned a woman living at the house who provided them a fake lease agreement, Smith told KTLA. The woman allegedly was an OnlyFans model paying $2,000 a month to stay at the location and was making content for the adult platform, according to KTLA.
The woman and the rest of her group were evicted by police and the property was returned to the real estate agents.
KTLA reported that a man had rented the house to a group of five people, including the model.
No information has been released about the identity of the squatters or if any have been arrested.
Emmily Randall-Smith, the real estate agent, recommended that homeowners with unoccupied residences install “no trespassing” signs and stay in touch with neighbors.
“It just feels like a total violation,” she said. “I always tell people to be close to their neighbors to have them watch out for your home.”
