Sheriff Issues Dire Warning on Cartels in Rural California | Matt Kendall

Siyamak sits down with Sheriff Matt Kendall. He grew up on tribal land and is the sixth generation to live in Mendocino County. He will talk about how rural California counties are being taken over by illegal marijuana growers.

“The things that were going on in Mexico 10–15 years ago with the cartel violence are coming to our state, especially in rural areas in California. I only have two deputies assigned to it ... Community could end up fighting with them themselves ... and it will be vigilante justice.”
