The recent Supreme Court ruling allows cities in California to clean up homeless encampments. Siyamak sit down with Traci Park, Los Angeles City Councilwoman, to hear her thoughts on how this could adversely impact the city.
“If we don’t address and revise our own policies, we are going to end up absorbing what is a regional, statewide and national problem. We have got to have a place for folks to go shelter, and we’ve got to have services, but we also have to have the legal tools now to start forcing the issues with folks who won’t go, who refuse to go,” says Traci Park.
