Victims of Apparent Murder-Suicide in Granada Hills Identified

The two men and two women killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Granada Hills on the evening of Jan. 27 have been identified.

Police said Rodrigo De Leon, 79, was the shooter who turned the gun on himself after killing Arabella De Leon, 80, Rodrigo De Leon, 53, and Merceditas De Leon, 49.

The shooting was reported by another woman in the house, described as an adult daughter of the elder Mr. De Leon, who hid during the incident and then called 911, according to local television station KABC.

KABC added that the victims were the wife and two adult children of the elder Mr. De Leon.

The motive for the shootings is still under investigation.
