Siyamak sits down with Sohan Samran, a farmer in Madera county. Today he’ll discuss the challenges farmers are facing in California and share how he was able to build a canal in this property to store some of the stormwater in the underground basin without any help from any government entity.

“They want to downsize our agriculture footprint. It pushes a small family farmers out of business. You have to spend $1-2 million to get the permit. Cut the red tape make it simpler”
