“Tenants have rights. The lines between tenants and squatters are blurred. Right now, squatters are taking advantage of the fact that California is a very tenant-friendly state,” says Flash Shelton, an anti-squatting activist who’s an expert on the issue of squatting in California.
Siyamak sits down with Shelton, who will share the loopholes in the law that allow squatters in California to take over homes. He will also tell us how he deals with squatters and how he gets them out.
