Busy Philipps took to Instagram on New Year’s Eve to share a security camera video showing her falling down the front steps of her New York City home back in October.

The 43-year-old actress, known for her roles in “White Chicks” and “Dawson’s Creek,” said 2022 “broke her heart in multiple ways” but was glad to still be alive.

“Please enjoy this video of me miraculously tumbling down the front stoop in October and not injuring myself at all (also just fyi, I was sober),” she wrote on Instagram.

“Listeners of the pod, this is for your and our collective light teams.”

In the footage, Philipps walks out of her New York City home with her dog Gina on a leash, ready to go out for a walk. Instead, she suddenly falls and tumbles head-first down the steps.

Philipps quickly gets up without a struggle and texts her ex-husband, Marc Silverstein, who was inside the home with their two children, Birdie, 14, and Cricket, 9.

The video came after Philipps discussed the incident in an October episode of her podcast titled, “Busy Almost Died!”

Although Philipps did not sustain any injuries, she admitted on her podcast that she’s glad her life did not end after the fall.

Philipps compared the clip to a photoshopped meme of Jason Derulo falling down the stairs at the Met Gala.

“That is literally in my head what was happening,” she said. “I was flying … when I landed on the sidewalk, I was looking up at the trees and I was like, ‘How am I not dead?’”

After she posted the footage on Instagram, Philipps’s celebrity friends and fans flocked to the comments to react to the video.

“Brava! How you get back up is what matters!” said actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry.

“The dog, the pumpkins, the choreography. May we all hope to tumble so gracefully through life!” added another follower.

“Omg so glad you were okay!” said designer Joy Cho.

Philipps currently stars in the musical comedy TV series “Girls5eva” along with Sara Bareilles, Paula Pell, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

She previously starred in the television shows “Cougar Town” and “Freaks and Geeks.”
