Disney Names Dana Walden as Head of TV Content, Replacing Major Exec Peter Rice

Walt Disney Co has replaced veteran Hollywood executive Peter Rice with Dana Walden in a major shakeup to leadership, Chief Executive Bob Chapek announced on Thursday.

Walden was promoted to Chairman of Disney’s General Entertainment Content, where she will lead the company’s streaming television efforts.
