Media outlet Breitbart has announced its first-ever foray into the film distribution business with the upcoming release of “My Son Hunter,” a non-documentary film described as scripted entertainment starring Hollywood actors and following the exploits of the eponymous character as he navigates a “tangled web of prostitution, partying, international business dealings, drugs, sex, Chinese spies,” and a “laptop from Hell.”
Carano, a former MMA star-turned-actress who was fired from Disney’s “The Mandalorian” over a controversial social media post, plays a Secret Service agent in “My Son Hunter” and also serves as the film’s narrator.
‘Scandalous’
While the full trailer won’t be released until Aug. 26, a 15-second teaser shows characters apparently meant to evoke an association in viewers’ minds with Biden and his son, Hunter, with the words “bombshell,” “scandalous,” and “corrupt” flashing across the screen.The film focuses on the exploits of the titular character, played by Laurence Fox, as he “finds himself doing all the wrong things in all the wrong places with all the wrong people,” before meeting a sex worker played by Emma Gojovic and drawing her into a “tangled web” of missteps.
“This slick looking film is not a documentary, but it may as well be, with a storyline built upon the unbelievable details of Hunter Biden’s personal life and corrupt business dealings that only those hungry for the truth may be aware of,” Breitbart said in the announcement.
‘Unprecedented and Outrageous’
Solov said that one of the biggest political scandals was when Big Tech and mainstream media “colluded” to bury the sensational story of Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 presidential election, which the Breitbart chief argued was to “protect their chosen presidential candidate.”For years, Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings have been the subject of public debate and scrutiny, as have allegations that he sold access to then Vice President Joe Biden during the Obama administration.
Both Hunter Biden and the president have denied any wrongdoing.
Ahead of the 2020 election, a number of media outlets and social media platforms suppressed information about the younger Biden’s foreign dealings and sordid personal life found on his laptop.
Later, a group of former intelligence officials came forward backing the claim that the laptop was a part of foreign disinformation effort, even though John Ratcliffe, then-director of national intelligence, said there was no intelligence that supported such a claim.
Polling indicated that if the public had been aware of the suppressed story ahead of the election, it may have cost the elder Biden several percentage points of voters—possibly enough to thwart his bid for the White House.
Breitbart’s chief executive called suppression of information about Hunter Biden’s laptop “unprecedented and outrageous.”
“Breitbart has always believed freedom flourishes with more voices, not less,” Solov said. “As we begin distributing films, that belief will be a guiding light.”
The outlet’s editor-in-chief, Alex Marlow, described “My Son Hunter” as a “wildly entertaining film that looks unlike anything that’s come out of the conservative movement.”
