“X Men: Days of Future Past'' is set to hit theaters in less than two months on May 23.
The latest addition to the growing “X-Men” film library will feature more familiar faces than ever as the surviving cast of the first “X-Men” movies reunites with the younger versions of themselves from “X-Men: Last Stand.”
That includes Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy as the older and younger version of professor Charles Xavier; and Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender as the older and younger version of Magneto.
Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Halle Berry (Storm), and Ellen Page (Shadowcat) are among the other stars returning.
New characters will also be introduced, such as villain Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) and X-Man Quicksilver (Evan Peters).
The ensemble will feature in the movie that has the X-Men fighting a war for the survival of the species across two different time periods, linked by Wolverine traveling into the past.
