For the upcoming season of “The X Factor” UK version, the confirmed judges are the creator of the series, Simon Cowell, and singer Cheryl Cole. Although the two other judges have not been announced yet. The host for the show is said to be Dermot O'Leary.
For now, at least one contestant can be confirmed, and it’s the 18-year-old Ella Henderson.
Henderson, who almost made it into the finals in 2012 plans to return to X Factor and sing in front of Simon Cowell who was not part of the Series 9 show that aired on August 2012.
“I hope to go back on the show as it’s where it all started. It will be nerve-racking but cool, especially if Simon is back on the show, as it would be the first time I’ve performed in front of him,” Henderson told Daily Star, a UK publication. Since leaving “The X Factor” Henderson has her worked on her debut single “Ghost” which she recently released.
The popular music competition series will return for its Series 11 in the fall of 2014. The auditions which started on April 5 in Dublin, will complete on May 5 in Liverpool.
No exact date has been announced for the premiere of the show, however, taking into account the trend, it can be assumed the show will begin airing sometime mid to late August.
