NEW YORK—The world’s largest pumpkins are now on display at the New York Botanical Garden.

Up until Oct. 30 the Botanical Garden will show the four pumpkins that have won weigh-offs throughout the United States and Canada. Among them is the new world record holder, weighing in at 1,818.5 pounds.

The record-breaking pumpkin was grown by Jim and Kelsey Bryson from Ormstown, Canada. The other three pumpkins were U.S.-grown, with two of them from California. The second heaviest hails from Pennsylvania, and weighs all of 1,087.5 pounds.

On the weekend of Oct. 29 and 30, pumpkin carver Michael Natiello will be at the Botanical Garden to carve the giant pumpkins in a manner fitting for the upcoming Halloween festivities. Two of the pumpkins were already carved into a big sculpture last weekend, Oct. 22 and 23, by carver Ray Villafane.
