Wimbledon 2013 marched on to the quarterfinals this week, with German Sabine Lisicki turning into a new favorite.
Lisicki defeated Kaia Kanepi 6-3 6-3 on Tuesday.
“There was for me no pressure at all after yesterday’s win,” Lisicki told a news conference, according to Reuters. “I needed to make the switch quickly and focus on today’s match and that’s what I did. I think I did a good job today.”
She added :“I was ready today,” according to The Associated Press. “I knew from the past, out of experience, that I needed to make the switch quickly to be ready, and that’s what I did.”
