WikiLeaks said it is offering a reward for information in the death of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.

The website tweeted Tuesday it will provide $20,000 to anyone providing information leading to a conviction in the death of Rich, who was found with multiple bullet wounds in Washington, D.C., on July 10. Police told local media outlets at the time that it is possible he was shot and killed during a robbery attempt.

According to the DCist, when police found Rich wounded near his home in Bloomingdale on the 2100 block of Flagler Place NW, his watch, wallet, and credit cards were still there. Rich later died of his injuries at a nearby hospital.

“WikiLeaks has decided to issue a US$20k reward for information leading to conviction for the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich,” WikiLeaks wrote in the tweet.

The city’s Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information about his death.

The case is still under investigation.

Rich, originally from Nebraska, was apparently walking home and was on the phone with his girlfriend when he was shot at 4:19 a.m. on July 11, WUSA9 reported.

Last week, the family of Rich held a press conference, asking the public for help. “We want to find who killed our son,” Mary Rich, his mother, said at the place where he was shot to death, according to DCist.

“They will kill anybody,” she said of the suspect responsible for his death. “The next time they shoot and kill, it will be someone you love.”

“The only thing I can say as a mother is it warms my heart that he lived such a great life, even though it was cut short,” she added, according to NBC. “I can always hold on to that.

According to his LinkedIn page, Rich had described himself as an “experienced and impassioned data analyst. I have an enormous interest in public service and working towards making the world a better place.”
