With all the tragedy of the daily news, it may be a good idea to remember the situations that, sometimes seemingly against all odds, had a happy end.
Here is a compilation of some hairy moments where people have come out unscathed. Some of these are crazy mishaps, some the result of people acting recklessly, but regardless, the sheer amount of luck in these situations, at times, can be mind-boggling.
