Former Ohio State Heisman-winning quarterback Troy Smith was arrested early Sunday morning in Westerville, Ohio, and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, improper display of a license plate, and possession of marijuana, according to a report on WBNS-10TV.

Police pulled over the former star quarterback for driving without a front license plate. They then administered a breathalyser test on Smith, who blew a .143. They also found marijuana in the vehicle.

A dashcam video of the arrest was obtained by TMZ in which Smith says, “I’m officer.” Later on, the 2006 Heisman winner is unable to pass the alphabet test and says he “graduated from Ohio State with a degree in bachelors.”

Smith led the Buckeyes 12–1 record, a Big Ten title, and a spot in the national championship game in 2006, where Ohio State lost to Florida 41–14.

A dual-threat quarterback, the agile Smith threw for 2,542 yards, with 30 TDs against only 6 interceptions, while completing 65.3 percent of his passes and ran for 204 yards and a TD.

Smith was then selected in the fifth round (174th overall pick) of 2007 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He was with Baltimore for three seasons before going to San Francisco in 2010.

Overall, in 20 NFL games (8 starts) Smith completed 51.7 percent of his 234 pass attempts, while throwing for 1,734 yards with 5 TDs and 4 interceptions.
