Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band made good on their word, returning to Madison Square Garden on March 28 for their rescheduled River Tour concert show, after Snow Storm Jonas postponed the January 24 show. It was there where Springsteen and his 90-year-old mother, Adele, shared a dance during the song, “Ramrod.”
Toting a guitar, the New Jersey native found his way into the seats where his mom stood waiting. The duo shared a danced to the excitement of fans. The one minute dance garnered a standing ovation from the crowd, as their dance moves played on the jumbotron.
This is a common occurrence between mother and son. During his Philadelphia shows in 2009 and 2012, Adele Springsteen joined her son onstage, dancing to “Dancing at the Dark.”
