WASHINGTON−On the evening of February 12, the New York Divine Performing Arts performance drew to a successful conclusion after the second show at Washington DC’s Kennedy Arts Center. The world-class performance at the world-class venue attracted people from all walks of life including politics, arts, and finance as well as from the local Chinese community.

The Chairman of the China Democracy Party World Union, Wang Jun, watched the show for the second time. He told the Epoch Times that, the Divine Performing Arts performance at the Kennedy Center had won the entire audience’s heart. The Kennedy Center symbolizes America’s highest standards in the performing arts. Therefore, Divine Performing Art’s outstanding performance at the Kennedy Center symbolizes America’s and the world’s overall recognition of the Divine Performing Arts.

“The entire performance was very beautiful”, said Wang. “The performers were outstanding, the backdrops were very elegant, together with the live orchestra, performers’ movements, and choreography, everything was seamless and very touching! The performers’ dedication and team spirit moved me. They are performing with their hearts.”

He said, “It’s noticeable that this show has attracted many people who have profound understandings to life and arts”, said Wang. “And they will think about it after the show. In the past, people in China can only be exposed to the Communist Party culture that is patriotic to the party, and outside of China, Chinese performances are mostly acrobats for pleasure. Everybody will find the Divine Performing Art’s heartfelt performance refreshing.”

Wang said that the Divine Performing Art’s success in Washington D.C. has profound consequences. The show truly represents 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture and the world now has a true appreciation its authenticity.

“Regardless of dance, choreography, or music, everything plays a part of a moving picture that is understandable by people from all races and all languages. Everyone can understand it and feel the emotions, and put himself/herself in the show.”

Wang hopes that the show will travel to more cities and be seen by many more people.
