An autistic student in Florida got quite the surprise when a cheerleader asked him to prom.
Mikal Bartosik, a senior at Park Vista High School, opened up a box that contained a giant Mrs. Fields cookie inside.
On top of the cookie was the words, “Will you go to prom with me?”
Mikal watches Jonathon jump for joy for a while before asking, “So does that mean ‘yes?’”

“Yes!” replies Jonathon, before sharing a hug with Mikal.
Jeanne Ladner, the school’s speech pathologist and cheerleading coach, told the Palm Beach Post that the scene made her weep with joy.
She said, “This is something like you see in the movies.”
