A traffic camera in Canada has caught a snowy owl in full flight.

The beautiful images were shared by Robert Poeti, Quebec’s minister of transport.

The snowy owl is Quebec’s official bird.

Sightings are rare.

Snowy owls mainly eat mammals, such as rodents and hares, according to Defenders of Wildlife. They hunt mainly in the daytime, unlike most owl species.

These owls are found most of the year in Alaska and Canada, but migrate to the northern United States in winter.
