President Donald Trump plans to sign an executive order that would remove birthright citizenship for babies born on American soil to mothers who are not citizens of the United States.

“We’re the only country in the world where a person comes in and has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States ... with all of those benefits,” Trump told the left-leaning Axios blog.

“It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous. And it has to end.”

It’s unclear when exactly Trump plans to sign the order.

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham responded to the announcement, saying he plans to take action in the Senate. He posted a statement on Twitter.

“I plan to introduce legislation along the same lines as the proposed executive order from President Donald Trump.”

Trump Pays Respects to Victims at Pittsburgh Synagogue

Three days after a shooter opened fire at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing 11, President Donald Trump visited the site of the shooting and a hospital where some of the injured are recovering.

When asked the day before what his goal in traveling to the city was, Trump told Fox News that he was going there to pay his respects.

“I would have done it sooner, but I didn’t want to disrupt any more than they had disruption,” he said.

Traveling with him were son-in-law Jared Kushner, who was raised Jewish; daughter Ivanka Trump, who converted to Judaism when she married Kushner; and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, who also is Jewish. First Lady Melania Trump, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications Bill Shine also accompanied the president.

Third Migrant Caravan Heads Toward Mexico as Second Caravan Gets Violent at Border

A third migrant caravan is heading north toward Mexico and the United States, as the second caravan turned violent and unruly at the border of Guatemala and Mexico, wounding police officers as migrants tore down barriers and ignored warnings.

Most of the focus has been on the main migrant caravan currently in southern Mexico working its way north, but the second caravan isn’t far behind after reaching Mexico’s southern border, and now a third one has recently received official help from the El Salvadorian government.

The roughly 1,500 migrants in the third caravan, mostly El Salvadorians and Hondurans, were given an official map that includes directions for transit routes, free phone services, food depots, and healthcare offices, Guatemalan officials told investigative reporter Sara Carter, who published a picture of the map.

Apple refreshed some of its lower-profile products at a New York event on Oct. 30, adding iPhone features like facial recognition to the iPad Pro and faster processors and better displays to some Mac computers that have not had a major update in years.

The Cupertino, California, company introduced new versions of the iPad Pro, its higher-end tablet that competes with Microsoft’s Surface, with thinner bezels and more screen space, along with the face unlock system found on Apple’s newer iPhones.

Apple said a new version of the Mac Book Air, originally released in 2011, would feature a higher-resolution display and thinner bezels and start at $1,199, hitting stores on Nov. 7.

The company also said the Mac Mini, a small desktop customers provide their own display and accessories for, would feature more processing power and memory capacity and start at $799.
