Penguins are now being allowed to walk outside in a plaza during a month-long event being held at the Kansas City Zoo.
Called a “penguin march,” every weekend this month will feature the birds, according to the Kansas City Star.
Specifically, they’re king penguins--the second largest type in the world. The zoo also features gentoo penguins.
King penguins breed on the subantarctic islands at the northern reaches of Antarctica, South Georgia, and other islands in the region.
