A video mocking Russian president Vladimir Putin has gone viral in Eastern Europe.
The video, named ‘Putin, Putout,’ shows Slovenian television personality Klemen Slakonja imitating the Russian leader.
According to the BBC the video is receiving mixed reactions, with some praising the video and others coming to the defense of Putin.
Slakonja made several edits to his initial Facebook post, adding in later that the “The purpose of this video really isn’t to insult anybody, so don’t take it too seriously.”
The controversial video was part of a series of entries trying to be nominated to represent Slovenia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
The video, which was published online on Feb. 27, has had over two million views so far.
