When it comes to childhood brain teasers, nothing has gripped the world the same way that the Rubik’s Cube has. This small rotating cube has 9 squares on each side, and they all have to match. The challenge is in making them do so.

This man can be seen fussing over a 220 pound Rubik’s Cube that he created himself. He has to continuously flip and switch the giant block as he works to solve the cube. This challenge with the block requires not only skill, but also tenacity, due to the fact that it weighs so much.

Rubik’s Cubes are not necessarily hard to solve either. It all has to do with algorithms, and so long as you know the algorithms, the rest of the cube is pretty easy. However, this is why many competitions focus more on how fast that you can solve it, and if you can solve it in the least amount of turns.

The guy spends minutes and minutes solving the cube, constantly picking it up and turning it so that he can twist the top two rows again. He is able to get the first side as a single color, and that is where the fun starts. Over time, he starts to get another side down, and then another one, working bit by bit on getting all of the corner pieces to match up.

Soon, he finally finishes, and he can be seen standing on his creation, which he was finally able to solve. It took him 64 turns of the cube to be able to solve it, and he did it within a relatively short amount of time as well. This should show that there are many ways to challenge yourself when it comes to puzzles.
