An Illinois high school dance team is making headlines for doing a performance without music.

During a Jan. 30 competition, the Mahomet-Seymour High School Competitive Dance Team danced to Jon Jorgenson’s spoken word poem, “What Are You Afraid Of?”

They competed in the Illinois High School Association State Competitive Dance Championship, along with 90 other dance teams across the state, WGN-TV reported.

The team got 8th place, but it previously won first place in 2015.

In the dance, there’s a dramatic change of outfits.

Senior Autumn Hodge told The Pantagraph, “The wardrobe change symbolized starting afraid and insecure to suddenly letting go of your fears.”
