A homeless man sat on a bench in the New York City subway, and people tried to ignore him.
Then, he asked the girl next to him to request a song.
Fortunately, he had the music to “My Girl” on his CD player, and started to sing. And in just seconds, people around him started paying attention.
Later, it became evident that he’s known to some of the people riding the train, as one guy says “Good to see you!”
That kind of presence helps break up the dreary commutes, and he also managed to get a buck or two for his stellar performance.
