Hippos and zebras are usually neither friends nor enemies, but when a baby zebra was struggling in the water in a life-and-death situation, a hippo saw and quickly reacted.
None of the other zebras appear aware of what’s happening to the baby, but the gigantic hippo suddenly comes over and gently nuzzles him toward land.
The zebra finally reaches the shore, but is stuck between some giant rocks.
The hippo continues to help him, nudging him through the obstacles, and doesn’t leave until he’s sure the baby will be alright.
