Valeria Lukyanova, the Ukrainian self-described “human Barbie,” posted a photo of herself without makeup, drawing reactions.
This came just a few days after she made odd statements about what she believes.
According to an interview with GQ, Lukyanova said that the standards of beauty have changed due to “race-mixing.”
“For example, a Russian marries an Armenian,” Lukyanova told the magazine. “They have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad’s nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it’s all good. Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this. I love the Nordic image myself. I have white skin; I am a Nordic type -- perhaps a little Eastern Baltic, but closer to Nordic.”
The seemingly racist comment drew a negative reaction from people.
Lukyanova also said that she has a disdain for children.
“It’s unacceptable to me,” she said of having a family. “The very idea of having children brings out this deep revulsion in me. Most people have children to fulfill their own ambitions, not to give anything,” she says, adding later, “I'd rather die from torture because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle.”
Also, so-called Human Ken Doll Justin Jedlica said that he’s not exactly fond of Lukyanova
“She’s a very pretty little girl,” he told the Daily Beast. ”She knows how to do her makeup like stage makeup and give herself different features.” He added. “It is a little bit weird that she’s trying to be stoic, emotionless.
Lukyanova also said that she wants to only live off air and light. She claims she hasn’t eaten in weeks.
“In recent weeks I haven’t been hungry at all,” Lukyanova said several weeks ago, according to the International Business Times. “I’m hoping it’s the final stage.” Lukyanova added, “I can subsist on air and light alone.”
Lukyanova has become an advocate for the controversial practice of “Breatharianism,” which has been derided in the past for the alleged starvation deaths of people.
A few months back, the 28-year-old model was the subject of a Vice documentary called “Space Barbie,” which showed her lifestyle.
