Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Janel Parrish are one of the final four teams on Dancing With the Stars season 19 and are perhaps the most beloved team left because of their passion and chemistry.
Two of the three other teams are definitely not romantically involved because one or both partners is already in a relationship.
The rumors about the third team, Derek Hough and Bethany Mota, are not nearly as intense as for Val and Janel, who sparked things quickly when they shared a kiss in week 1 and Janel told Val that she loves him.
Later in the season, Janel and her boyfriend Payson Lewis broke up, adding to the speculation that Val and Janel are dating or are at least carrying on a romance away from prying eyes. A recent report even claimed that Janel is “falling in love” with Val.
But neither have admitted as much.
In any case, Janel and Val are one of the most talented teams left and have a good chance of winning the Mirror Ball.
Val has never won a season of DWTS, but if he does this time it would make it back-to-back wins for the Chermkovskiy family since brother Maksim won last season with Meryl Davis.
“Maks” even showed up recently to the studio to impart some advice to Val and Janel, and he and Meryl went out to dinner with them not too long ago.
The second-to-last episode of DWTS season 19 will start at 8 p.m. EST on November 24, with the last episode starting at the same time on Tuesday.
