Amber Heard on Friday dropped a bombshell accusation against her husband, Johnny Depp, claiming that he physically abused her.
Photos of Heard, 30, were published by TMZ on Friday, showing the actress with bruising around her right eye. Heard filed a temporary restraining order against her husband, saying Depp threw various items—including an iPhone—and hit her.

Depp has since denied everything.
Meanwhile, TMZ pointed to a photo of Heard that was taken after the alleged abuse last Saturday. A photo uploaded last Sunday shows Heard with her friends after the alleged iPhone attack—that appears to not show any bruising. That photo has been taken down from her account.

Meanwhile, officers in the Los Angeles Police Department were sent to their apartment last Saturday and found no evidence of injuries, according to another TMZ report.
As we reported, when cops arrived Amber refused to file a police report. She now claims Johnny hurled a cell phone at her face, badly bruising her eye, but our law enforcement sources say they saw no injury at all. In fact, we’re told she never alleged any brutality ... just that they had an argument.
Our sources say she refused to offer any more information, so they left.
As we reported, sources connected with Johnny say Amber is lying ... making up the domestic violence story. One of the things Johnny points to is Instagram ... Amber was tagged in a pic showing she was partying with friends Sunday, the day after the alleged attack. The photo was deleted on Friday after the news media spotted it.
The website added that LAPD sources said they have no reason to believe Depp struck Heard with a phone when they were dispatched to their apartment.
This week, Heard filed papers in court, where a judge granted a temporary restraining order against Depp. When she emerged from the court, the bruising was visible.

“During the entirety of our relationship,” Heard said in court papers that pleaded for protection. She added: “Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me.”
“I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him,” Heard said in a request filed May 27 at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
She also claimed on April 30, Depp allegedly smashed a champagne bottle and threw a wine glass at her. The couple are believed to have split up after the incident.
Depp responds, denies allegations
Depp’s lawyer issued a statement to People after the allegations of abuse, claiming that Heard is saying she’s being abused to gain the upper hand in their divorce.
“Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse,” attorney Laura Wasser told the magazine.
Wasser said that Depp has agreed to stay away from her but stressed that he isn’t a threat to her. Depp, who is currently in Europe, doesn’t plan to return to the United States until June 7.
“Her current application for a temporary restraining order along with her financial requests appears to be in response to the negative media attention she received earlier this week after filing for divorce,” Wasser told People. “Yet Johnny cannot protect himself or Amber from media scrutiny, and Amber’s anger certainly cannot drive this dissolution proceeding.”
Depp’s only statement came on Thursday before the allegations of abuse.
“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly,” read the statement.
In a restraining order on Friday, Heard requested $50,000 a month in spousal support from Depp, protection for her dog, and sole access to the downtown Los Angeles home that she and Depp shared since getting married, and sole access to the Range Rover she was driving. She also asked Depp to enroll in a year of anger management classes.
Reports say that Depp is worth at least $450 million.
