He explains that Trump Jr. did not violate any campaign finance law. That law involves accepting a campaign contribution or donation from a foreign national. Kucinich explains the law relates to ’receiving something of value,' which Trump Jr. did not receive.

“He didn’t receive anything of value. It was nothing. ... If it’s nothing, it’s nothing. And nothing plus nothing equals nothing. And I don’t think there’s anything here,” Kucinich said.

The mainstream media have spent too much time on a story that leads to nowhere, Kucinich said, adding that the media and investigators just want to further their zero-evidence claims of Russian meddling. 

“We’ve spent a lot of time on this, and it’s going nowhere,” he said. “I don’t care how many investigations they have, I’ve seen these kind of investigations going nowhere.”
