PANAMA CITY, Fla.—U.S. President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump went to Florida’s storm-ravaged Panhandle and Georgia on Oct. 15, to see the destruction caused by deadly Hurricane Michael.
The president and first lady arrived at Eglin Air Force Base in the Panhandle, Florida’s northwestern region, and are scheduled to return to the White House on Monday evening, the White House said. Trump visited North and South Carolina after they were hit by Hurricane Florence last month.
