Trevor Bolder dies: Bolder, a guitar player, passed away at age 62 on May 22.
Bolder is best known for playing in David Bowie’s Spiders From Mars band.
“Trevor was a wonderful musician and a major inspiration for whichever band he was working with. But he was foremostly a tremendous guy, a great man,” Bowie said, according to Raw Story.
Bolder later played for Uriah Heep at several different points in time.
“Trevor was an all time great, one of the outstanding musicians of his generation, and one of the finest and most influential bass players that Britain ever produced,” Uriah Heep said in a statement obtained by Rolling Stone.
Bolder was born in Yorkshire, England, in June 1950.
