A train derailed in Bretigny, located near Paris, on Friday which killed eight people were killed in the crash.
The train derailed at Brétigny-sur-Orge and was going to Limoges, according to Le Parisien.
There were a number of people who were injured in the incident, the report said. At least 350 people on board the train.
Several people were stuck in the train, which was in rush-hour traffic when it crashed at around 5 p.m. local time.
The paper reported there were several people electrocuted by the rail.
Photos were uploaded to Twitter and users described the scene.
The BBC reported that local member of Parliament Michel Pouzol said emergency services were attending to the crash.
