Using Google Maps Street View, you can now tour the Priscilla Catacombs in Italy!
The Catacombs were in a quarry in Roman times and was used for Christian burials. In them reside the world’s oldest-known image of Mary. They are a network of tunnels stretching over 8 miles.
The Catacombs have been undergoing restoration work for a number of years after centuries of neglect.
Thanks to Google Maps, we can now take a peek inside without having to go there in person.
